to show how we have combined Reiki with working with our own horses and
friends horses over the years. Our Reiki courses will be available very soon!
So what is Reiki....
Reiki is the Universal energy that is inherent in all living things, every tree,
flower, creature and being on the planet, it is the life force of all things.
The word Reiki is translated as follows:
Rei - Universal, Omnipresent, Everywhere at the same time, Consciousness, Divine Energy, Higher Self.
Ki - Life Force Energy
We all have the ability to channel and work with energy but by becoming attuned to Reiki and learning the techniques involved, this channel becomes stronger and we can become more precise and focused with our energy work.
Learning how to balance and remove blockages from our energetic system helps the body to heal itself naturally and also heals the mental, emotional and spiritual bodies.
The energy system of your horse is quite similar to that of a human being. Like us, they have chakras and an aura, and when they have a strong and balanced energy field, they are able to stay healthier, happier and more relaxed. Energetic disturbances, blockages and damage to the aura and energy system, if left untreated, can manifest as physical and emotional issues. Through energy work, we can prevent this from happening by addressing these issues before they manifest.
Animals, especially horses, are very responsive to energy healing, including distance healing which is very comforting and less intrusive for nervous horses. When working with animals, being attuned to Reiki works in two ways, firstly, you can treat the animal hands on with Reiki for emotional or physical issues, but also, by working on yourself, you become more peaceful and grounded, and more in the present moment which will change the dynamics in the relationship you have with your horse. Reiki really can transform the bond and connection we have with our horse and it is so rewarding once you start to see results.
Horses are extremely sensitive to our energy, so the more balanced we can be emotionally while handling our horses, the more calm they will be in any situation. Our horses look to us for reassurance in "scary" situations and if we can stay calm and relaxed in any situation, so can they.

Reiki Course
This is an online course where you can download the material and work at your own pace, but you have our full support if you have any questions.
Once you are Reiki attuned, you can then work on yourself, friends, family and animals. It is a wonderful gift, not just for yourself but for the people around you. You will receive an Usui Reiki Level I Attunement by Chi Ball, Reiki manual and an extra equine manual where we will share our knowledge and experience of combining energy work with horses. This course comes with a Reiki Level I certificate upon completion. The course will guide you step by step on how to introduce Reiki to your horse and you will get lifetime support if you have any questions. We are busy recording videos to show you how to work on the chakras and aura, how to combine energy work with body work such as the bladder meridian technique, and how to work with tricky horses! You will also learn how to extend Reiki to your ridden work which is especially helpful when in tricky situations.
Once you are Reiki attuned, you can immediately start your Reiki journey! It is a wonderful gift, which has changed not only the course of my life, but my connection with my beautiful horses.
